Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the PreviewMonitor app ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA").

License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple EULA and these Terms.

What the App Does

PreviewMonitor displays a live preview of Adobe Premiere or After Effects running on your own computer, streamed over your local network from a separate, free desktop plugin that you install on that computer. The App can also preview a video or photo from your device (Monitor a Clip). The App is a companion tool; the live-streaming feature requires your own computer, software, and local network.

Subscriptions, Free Trial, and Auto-Renewal

PreviewMonitor is free to download. Live streaming requires a subscription, offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription that begins with a 7-day free trial; the Monitor a Clip feature is always free. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews at the then-current price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) after purchase. Prices are shown in the App before you subscribe and may vary by region.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to: misuse the App; use it for any unlawful purpose; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent its security except to the extent permitted by law; or use it to infringe the rights of others.

Trademarks and Third-Party Content

Adobe, Premiere, and After Effects are trademarks of Adobe Inc. TikTok is a trademark of ByteDance Ltd.; Instagram and Reels of Meta Platforms, Inc.; and YouTube and Shorts of Google LLC. PreviewMonitor is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of these companies. Their names are used only for compatibility and descriptive purposes. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you preview, capture, or export with the App.

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (excluding third-party components listed under Acknowledgements) are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks, logos, or branding.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, network, or version of the desktop software.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date shown above. Your continued use of the App after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
